How? Why?

I don't understand what people see in this simple style. After all, it's just a stick figure, but filled in and added with a body, anyone can draw this, so why the hell do these drawings sometimes get more responses than the professional drawings? The answer is I don't know, people are weird and so are the ones who draw those figures here
