First I do a messy sketch, and then create another layer to outline with 1pt. After that, I color in everything (usually the skin first) on the same layer, then I re-outline so the lines are thin and smooth. And then the background on the background layer. It is quite tedious and annoying (｡◕ˇ﹏ˇ◕｡ )
