I can definitely relate to you to I had a friend named Lyle who pasted away to brain cancer.
I felt like the world was over when they died but you just have to keep pushing. Cry as much as you want but never let it get to much of you. Something Im going to do to cope with their loss is donate to a place that finds a cure to cancer. Even the littlest amount of money is valid but if you don’t want to or if you don’t have any you could try and get others to if they have money you can say stuff online to get people to donate.
When Lyle died I wasn’t able to see their funeral and bc of that I’ve been very upset with myself so that’s why I’m donating. Just focus on the good parts of life :)
