I agree, some people were only friends with me just so I could comfort them. around 5 months ago I took action and told them to stop and stfu about their vents, one of them decided to "rephrase" their vent which is just 100x worse, like what the fuck? now I only want to comfort my partner or parents (or friends like you), if youre anyone but them i just refuse.
