That happened to me too except the basketball went straight to my finger while I was trying to grab it (sort of like bending it) absolutely hurt so bad. That’s probably why I don’t play much sports anymore 😭

After that, and after I basically broke my foot trying to play basketball, I just quit basketball completely and started in soccer.
