Sandy: you know very well that's not who you are, you've tried so hard to make up for what you did. We have all forgiven you, but I don't think you've forgiven yourself. That's why their words hurt. You need to let the past go, and focus on what's important to you right now.
Watcher: *They were taken by surprise at the wisdom of the snake's words. It took a moment for them to absorb her message.* I...see... thank you- for everything. I wish I could stay, but, I must deal with this.
Sandy: I'm always happy to help. If you need anything else, well... you know where to find me.
Jay: yeah, good luck out there. *he gives the watcher a friendly nudge.*
Watcher: *They smile gratefully at their friends, giving them a nod. Then, they rush to the shadow they arrived from and begin searching for the felines whereabouts.*

(Part 2)
Jay: do you have a crush on them or something? *he smirks*
Sandy: not the time for jokes, Jay. *she says in a lower tone.*
Jay: what? Can't I tease a little bit?
Watcher: you talk like you're not already in love. *they tease back*
Jay: are you jealous? *he says, half jokingly*
Sandy: *she clears her throat.*
Watcher: yes, let's focus on more important matters here. Apologies.
Sandy: hmm... I would just... try to empathize. Maybe relate it to a similar experience I you had where you felt the same, and incorporate that when you speak to them?
Watcher: are you sure that will actually work? What if they turn me away again? Will I have to fight?
Sandy: I'm sorry, I can't promise it will work, but you will just have to keep trying. Show how much you really care, you know?
Watcher: I... I understand. It just... really hurts me when... when they refer to me as a monster... a demon.

(Part 1)
Watcher: there. *they say right as they spot Sandy. Quickly, the watcher reaches above and pulls themselves up through the shadows of a tree. Sandy is resting on the shoulders of Jay as they walk around in a park. The watcher rushes over.* Sandy! I need your assistance. *both Sandy and Jay look back at the sound of their voice.*
Sandy: oh, hi watcher! How can I help?
Watcher: how... *at first, they try to find words for a question to ask, but they decide it would be better to just explain the situation.*
Sandy: *her eyes widen in disbelief as the watcher explains what they saw.* oh my... that is terrible...
Watcher: can you help me... please? I'm not sure what exactly I'm meant to do. How do I talk to them?

(Yeah makes sense)

Watcher: *They contemplate the words as they step inside the cage. Then, the watcher remembers how they were changed from the angry, destructive, and confused individual they were. That tiny little rattlesnake- Sandy- had shown them compassion despite the things they had done. She saw through it all, and managed to make them see reason once more.* I need to speak to her... *they mumble. Putting themselves back into reality, they see that they're in the back of some kind of van. Since there isn't any light, they're able to easily slip into the darkness. Then, in the safety of the void, they search for Sandy using their endless eyes.*

*But at the same time, they can't help but feel dread. They saw the way the feline treated humans. That would definitely lead to many unnecessary deaths. What if they did the same for their friends? They didn't want to think of that possibility. And what of that jester? They completely let Sylvester slip out of their mind. Surely he would want a part of it, right? Maybe- the sound of metal clanging against the ground jerked the watcher from their thoughts, and realized the police had brought a large cage, large enough for a bear.*

(Yeah they're pretty well-known because of the destruction they previously caused)

Watcher: *the Watcher stared at the spot where the feline was stood. They didn't know how to feel, everything was a mess. There was just no point in trying to reason anymore, and it would take a lot to explain everything, especially when the watcher didn't even know how they got here. Part of them wanted to just give up everything, they wanted to give up trying to protect the things they care about. They wanted to stay in the cell they would soon be taken to for eternity. At least, they think, it would be better than the dark void. At least I could see, and eat, and feel the walls around me.*

Watcher: *They don't reply, then after a moment of hearing the police shouting for the feline to show themselves, they stand up.* what am I doing here, crying like a child. If I can't talk to them, then this is how I must help. *they walk out into the street, and raise their hands.* it was I who has murdered your coworker. *they don't say anything more, and the police seem to believe it. They order the watcher to turn around and put their hands behind their back. The watcher does just that. But then, the police realize that they can't fit in of any of their vehicles and talk about what to do.*

Watcher: *They let out a sigh of despair.* why does this have to be so hard? I don't understand why everyone is so determined to hate me! Nothing I do is right. *they seem to be complaining to themselves.* I just want to help, but it never seems welcome. Maybe I should just give up... maybe I should let people believe I'm the monster they so desperately want to see. *their eyes welling up with tears, they sit against the wall of the dark alleyway.* if I can't help, then you can just leave. The police will want to chase you anyway.

Watcher: WHY WOULD I- *They stop themselves and take a deep breath, forcing themselves to be calm.* just take a look around you. Do you truly believe you are in the world you came from any longer? We don't have much time left anyway- they're almost here. Quick, follow me! *the sound of sirens quickly fade into earshot, and the flashing blue and red lights indicate more law enforcement are approaching fast. The watcher beckons the feline to a nearby shadowy alleyway.*

Watcher: *They stare in horror as the body drains of blood.* n-no... This... you- *they're overwhelmed with emotions, and their figure clearly shows it. Their body shakes and appears more jagged and chaotic. They let out their emotions in anger.* THIS IS NOT YOUR DIMENSION! THERE IS NO KING HERE! PLEASE LISTEN TO ME FOR ONCE AS YOUR LIFE DEPENDS ON IT NOW! DO YOU HEAR ME? THEY WILL KILL YOU IF YOU KEEP MURDERING PEOPLE LIKE THIS!

*the bystanders panic and run away, some alert the police on their phones, and some hide in stores.*
Watcher: oh no this has escalated terribly! *they panic.* S-stop! Please, I beg you! This will only make it worse! *they plead the feline.* they called more officers, they will kill you if you continue this! *they shout.*

*they raise their hands and shriek in fear.* "Hey, I'm just trying to make a living here!" *others turn at the commotion, gasping and murmuring to each other in shock. A police officer nearby notices, and runs over with his gun out and points it at the feline.* "Hey! Put your weapon down!"
Watcher: *They recover themselves, and jump in between the feline and the police officer* hey, it's quite unnecessary to point that firearm sir... my friend here is just a little confused and frightened. Not to worry, I can handle it from here sir. *but the officer ignores them, and continues to aim at the feline.*

Watcher: *They panic in seeing them approaching, and dive into the nearest shadow, but they were too panicked. Instead of disappearing into the void like they intended, they collided face-first into the concrete.* ow... *they groan with pain.*

(I do like making lore, but I also want it to make sense. I guess saying that now, things making sense is kinda subjective.)

(Yeah I feel like that fits them now, since I've been fleshing out their lore a bit in my mind)
