I'm not saying you need to "betray her" just try to see this situation from both perspectives. It's okay if you care deeply for her, and you're not ruining the friendship through just trying to understand our perspectives on this "drama" aswell.
Opinions that invalidate a person's gender identity are invalid. Jen thinks the neopronouns that might sound sexual are invalid because those words have been sexualized a lot. It does not matter, that is how the person expresses themself with their pronouns. She didn't change Jordan's design and personality until she was attacked for it, because fetishizing gay men is disgusting. I need you to understand that Jen's actions and opinions are gross, you need to stop being biased because of your friendship with her and look at this situation through our eyes.
Shut the actual fuck up. Jen is not "protecting" neopronoun users. They are invalidating them. Kitten/kittenself is valid. So is puppy/puppyself, tree/treeself, and any other neopronouns that might objectify a person, as long as they want to use those pronouns.
Okay first of all I wasn't sent by Spencer or Lop, I did this of my own accord. Also her opinion is offensive, so they could have just shut her fucking mouth and not opened it to people who would obviously get upset, as we all use neopronouns. Also I wasn't in on the conversation puppy had with Jen, I just saw the screenshots.
Also I don't care if their one OC was a "uwu soft cinnamonroll" in the past, because it took her too fucking long to realize that fetishizing gay men is disgusting. I'm gonna be honest, Lop and I did that too, but unlike Jen, we realized as soon as we learned it was wrong, and gross, we changed those characters.
Spencer could have drawn that fanart as a troll, to try and get them to react incorrectly, or it was genuine fanart, you have no fucking proof that it was a troll, so don't accuse puppy like that. Puppy was most likely just trying to make a joke, so you can shut the fuck up about that too💕
Okay, not liking certain neopronouns is fine, but then saying those pronouns are mocking the people who also use neopronouns? Makes a bunch of sense. They have no right to invalidate pronouns like that, and some people prefer to be off the binary spectrum with their neos, and that's fine. She said that neopronouns that could be seen as sexual, which aren't, are invalid and mock other trans people who use them. If you aren't trans then shut the fuck up about pronouns, they don't concern you and you're just being transphobic stuck up shitbags. If certain neopronouns that someone use make you uncomfotable use different pronouns that person is okay with. You have no fucking right to invalidate the pronouns you don't like.
