Oh wait i forgot to tell you this earlier but if you watch the original Godzilla movie on Youtube (it’s free with ads), look for the uncut Japanese original. King of the Monsters (1956) is an American adaptation which got heavily censored (hmmm i wonder why…), so it might not be as good.

Bueno solo busque una imagen en Google y dije que color se me parecia. En la mayoria de las que encontre se veia verde, pero en otras se ve como in amarillo medio verdoso, como un color lima. Apenas encontre imagenes en las que se veia totalment amarillo

I mean i understand. Sometimes the movies are a bit slow. However, some of them are pretty fun. This is why I liked Godzilla: Final Wars, since it is just PACKED with action and all sorts of kaiju (15 monsters in total, yes I Googled it). It was one of the first Japanese Goji films I saw, and I think it’s a great way to start off, especially since many familiar kaiju from previous films show up, as well as a few new ones

The only Japanese Godzilla movies I ever watched were Shin Godzilla (the one on the left), the anime trilogy (top), and Godzilla Final Wars. I might watch the original 1954 movie soon tho.

Ok, so, i’ll explain. The Godzilla series is currently divided into four eras based on the time the movies were made. First off is the Showa, which includes the original and the ones that followed after until The Return of Godzilla (1984). Then comes the Heisei, which goes from the previously mentioned movie all the way to Godzilla vs Destoroyah (1995). Then comes the Millenium series, which spans from Godzilla 2000 (1999) up until Final Wars (2004). Lastly is the Reiwa series, the newest one (2016-now). This one includes the Godzillas above.

Some movies inside each era are sequels, others are reboots, and then some are just their own thing. Sometimes they feature the same Godzilla from the previous film, other times they are another individual, and then sometimes they are just different versions of the monster. The ones above are all variants.

Godzilla Minus One is a reboot of 1954, so no need to catch up. However, Godzilla 1954 is free to watch on YouTube with ads.
