Yeah i was planning on making another tutorial WITH the Opacity tool (hence the title), but i felt that this was another good technique to share, as the Opacity tool can sometimes be a bit unpredictable, and not everyone is as comfortable using it.

But if you DO want to make your blending smoother, i would recommend using colors that don’t contrast as much and transition more easily (for example, instead of jumping directly from blue to yellow, going from blue to blue-green to green to yellow-green and THEN yellow makes the transition from one color to the other much less drastic)

But like I said this looks really cool and i’m glad someone tried it out

I’m not sure if I should watch it, i mean it looks fun but I feel like they are going to tone down Beetlejuice a lot, i mean in the first movie the way he acted was disgusting, he was absolutely feral, and that’s what made him iconic and hilarious. But some stuff which may have seemed more acceptable in the 80’s might not be seen that way now, and i guess that is kind of understandable, as long as he still feels like himself.

I mean, while Showa Gigan is truly iconic, I just love how FW Gigan looks so over-the-top edgy, and I feel like it better captures his sadistic personality. Overall, both are great designs IMO.

Also, if I had used Showa Gigan for the animation it would have looked too similar to the Gigabash Godzilla DLC trailer.
