Luka is more than willing to coddle her but he also is egotistical first and a good boyfriend last, and anything that can move makes his skin crawl too much. hugs and hand shakes are the closest things to intimacy anyone is ever getting for skin to skin contact-wise

I think robin would feel hurt and upset at first when luka feels hesitant to coddle her, and she feels horrible thinking something is so wrong with her that luka can't even touch her, but eventually just comes to figure out that luka is generally uncomfortable with touches that are not hugs. (and other luka issues regarding intimacy) and robin understands that if she wants to be held she must be in a blanket burrito

luka is touch adversed regarding extremely "intimate" actions (hugging is ok, cuddling is not.) regarding living things so everytime robin needs to be comforted by luka, luka swaddles robin in his "safe blanket" so he doesn't feel so disgusted touching robin

luka probably wakes up out of nowhere too because he just has premonition and panics when he can't feel robin next to him and will look around desperately for robin like as if she was a plushie

sometimes luka has sleep paralysis and he tries to convince himself it's robin And nothing else, but it's so scary not being able to move....

luka wakes up at least 3 times in the middle of the night and each time he turns to make sure robin is right by his side

💭Luka waking up, cold sweat running down him and his heart is pounding and his eyes are bloodshot but he looks to his right and sees robin clinging onto his arm, trembling as well with a pained expression. It seems like they both has night terrors tonight. Luka can't go back to sleep, afraid of facing his fears again, so he looks at robin, gently patting her head in a pathetic attempt to comfort her.
