it was nevermy intention to make it that way originally... i just kept carrot's he/him pronouns from when he used to be a direct ventsona, while mint was always meant to be "gender neutral" before i decided to hyper feminize her. but i think it ties them as "the same kind of person but in different prospectives."

i think subconsciously i also made their genders the opposite(?) to highlight their similarities even when playdate is "everyone is actually nonbinary and has no set gender" because in my own head as a personal hc mint is a she/her boy and carrot is a he/him girl Unlike others who's pronouns (mostly) relate to the personal genders i assigned them as
