i remember when i first wrote ericphuong i always wanted them to be vietnamese and kinda be a reflection of my feelings about being asian and seeing other asians as competitionand thats a huge part of their dynamic... eric is privileged and never really faced discrimination while being from a well off family while phuong had to work her way up into a nice university because she's poor
im not gonna lie i cant even write out the vietnamese part of them because being asian was a vital part od ericphuong's story since ft19 is also one of my more srs works but fuuuuck everyone just vietnamese for what....
