While at the attempt to revive Jurassic World, the DHL geneticists decided to next recreate the dangerously aggressive Spinoraptor. A higly social and intelligent creature, the DHL Spinoraptors are mostly piscivorous, unlike their InGen counterparts. Their body plan, though larger, is similar to the Velociraptor’s,with the sail and fishing skills of the Spinosaurus. Anglerfish DNA, which was used to give the Spinoraptor its pointy teeth and semi- aquatic lifestile, also had a side effect: it gave the Spinoraptors bioluminescence, which is where hunting comes in. Two members of a pack of 5 to 6 individuals will head into a river and herd a school of fish inside a circle made of other Spinoraptors. Then they would close the circle, and open their light- emitting mouths, which will distort the fish’ senses and make them easier to snatch up, as said by a field scientist. After a good meal, they may go down without eating for a week or two.The way they hunt when alone is uncertain, as they hunt at night, which also helps lower competition, though they have been observed to compete against Spinodon in some occasions.
