Even if it takes time, it doesn’t mean you’re wasting it. Being able to reflect, think, and accept would be the most healthiest thing you can do when you’re in pain. Even when it last’s longer than it should be, self healing would be the most patient and kind-hearted thing you’ll ever meet. Even if crying is shown as a weakness, it doesn’t mean you should think of it like that. Feel your feelings (even when they hurt), it would be the thing that’ll help you calm down. It’s okay to cry, it shows that you care. Help from your loved ones would also be the best thing. And so what do I personally think would be the best to deal with it? Talk it out, cry if you need, reflect, look for the brighter side of life, accept, and live your life to the fullest. But at the end of the day, you do you.
