History: The entity was first spotted at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant in Ukraine on April 26, 1986. It was attracted by a failed experiment to test out nuclear fission by technicians. The entity absorbed the excess radiation produced from the failed experiment that was not properly disposed before going on a rampage through Ukraine, Belarus, and Latvia. It then traveled and caused mayhem through Finland, Sweden, and Norway before it was stopped by Anomaly-2. This event caused the total collapse of the Soviet Union, Finland, and Sweden. It also caused Denmark to be contaminated before it eventually collapsed in 1990.

Neutralization Method: Use robots to activate the Substance Absorption Machine, or SAP, to suck in all the excess substances and then contain Anomaly-1 in a Mobile Containment Chamber made from lead before bringing it back to its cell.
