Tyrannosaurus rex (Michael Crichton’s Jurassic World) (ranking)
The second entry to the Jurassic Park/ The Lost World novel art series is finally here! This art series focuses on four of the most iconic dinosaurs from the novels and i decided to do this in order to celebrate the movie’s 30th anniversary. Of course, for those of you who read the novels you probably already SAW this one coming…unlike the NEXT dinosaur in this art series… (yes this was a hint in case it wasn’t obvious enough, any guesses?)
When i say “Michael Crichton’s Jurassic World”, i’m referring to both of the novels as one so i don’t have to type out both the names in the title all the time.

FACTS:
Height: 20 feet (7 meters)
Length: 42 feet (13 meters)
-Two Tyrannosaurus were known to live on Isla Nublar, an adult and a juvenile
-Like the Velociraptor, the Tyrannosaurus had a forked tongue in the novel, which is described as being blue- black, similar to a blue-tongued skink
-The Tyrannosaurus in the novels seem to sport sexual dimorphism, as one gender seems to have a longer tail than the other. It’s never specified which one, though
-The baby T-Rexes in the novels are covered in a fluffy coat of feathers
-The reason the Tyrannosaurus in the novels have terrible vision when it comes to non-moving objects is because of the amphibian DNA used in their creation
-For more info i would recommend checking out the JP novels or researching on another website, as i don’t want to get into heavy spoilers
