My parents are kinda similar
Except my ma is the homophobic one and my stepdad is Christian yet at least tries to accept it, even if it's weird for him

My parents support me they say whatever I am they will always love me!

And truly, Its like a part of Sin of being that, Which makes up for another reason for them to worry.

It is quite sad to be honest, But at the exact same time being, They may be keeping restrictions for multiple reasons to be honest, But you may learn as of the reason why, But im just making like speculations about the reasons behind it, They may say for safety, And yes, There are many bad things on the internet and Many good things as well, But its kind of hard to like control a child who had access to the internet when he or she was around 5 to 9 years old or more, I had access when i wad 6 or 7, And it wasnt pleasent, I had many things that changed me, But anyways you may talk to them about it.
