Redesigning the old DHL hybrids (Part 2)
Part 2 is here! For more context on what the Dinosaur Hybridization Lab was and why I decided to redraw these hybrids, please refer to Part 1.
HYBRIDS SHOWN:
Pararaptor—these apex predators of the Tundra biome live in packs and communicate with one another with complex vocalizarions made by their head crest
Antegodosaurus— this behemoth has a combination of DNA comprised of large and armored herbivores and, when fully grown, it has no natural predators
Mosasteus— yet another attempt to create their own version of one of InGen’s hybrids, this time the Dunkleosaurus, instead resulted in the smaller and more compact Mosasteus, a swift and agile creature of the deep
Euoplojara— at first a side project, researchers are now interested in how this species can evolve at an astonishingly rapid pace to survive in its surroundings
Suchoteranus—“the Spinodon’s colder, vegetarian cousin”
Basilomedon— often compared to a mythical sea serpent, this amphibious hybrid was created in hopes of controlling the rapidly growing Suchoteranus population
🔴NOTE: Just putting this here again. These drawings aren’t meant to be scientifically accurate versions of the hybrids, they’re just redesigned versions that still keep the 90’s dinosaur aesthetic similar to that of Jurassic Park, which honestly heavily inspired this in the first place (more specifically, JP: Chaos Effect and JW:TG)
Also my friend Outcazt just reached 300 followers and made a PAS, so I’d recommend checking that out
