Kulindadromeus zabaikalicus
Kulindadromeus is a genus of small herbivorous dinosaur which lived during the Middle Jurassic in what is now Russia. K. zabaikalicus is well-known for beatifully preserved fossil remains which reveal that it was partially covered in at least three different kinds of feathers, as well as scales in other parts of its body and rectangular scutes along its tail. It was also one of the first herbivorous non-theropod dinosaur found with feathers, suggesting that feathers may have evolved much earlier across Avemetatarsalia, or even Archosauria, than previously thought.
