Dinosaur drawing tutorial
I have been wanting to do this for a long time now, and here is my challenge: make either your own tutorial or try to draw something using mine. Works best in paper, but can be applied to this app.
Step 1: think of the dinosaur you want to draw. I chose a T rex.
Step 2:place your dinosaur in a desired pose, using a “skeleton” as a base.
Step 3: lightly sketch an actual skeleton to see how realistic your pose is and how you can tweak it. My t rex’s head was too high so i lowered it. Looking at other skeletons helps, and after a while, it becomes second nature
Step 4: using the skeleton, sketch muscle tissue (research latest paleoart)
Step 5: polish the your drawing. The head is the trickiest part. If u got that, then you are good to go.
Step 6.choose the colors (i chose the official DS354 t rex skin) and apply them. Leave the mouth and eyes untouched
Step 7: add shading and detail
Step 8: if you wanna do a background, lay it out first
Step 9: using other techniques, give the background life. To make it even more realistic,research the plants of the time period
