HOLY SHIT I JUST WATCHED THE NEW GODZILLA TEASER TRAILER

For those of you who didn’t know, we are getting a new Godzilla movie this year. And no, I’m not talking about ‘Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire’. This year, on November 3rd (December 1st worldwide), Toho will be releasing a new Godzilla film called ‘Godzilla Minus One’. Written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki, this movie will come out just in time for Godzilla’s 69th anniversary (nice) and will probably make the kaiju scarier than ever before (well, except for Shin. That stuff was crazy). Now, like the original 1954 film, this movie is expected to be a horror film, so keep that in mind if you want to bring your children to the movie theater, as this is also going to be one of the most serious Godzilla movies we will get from Toho. How serious? Well, like the og film, this movie will be set during post- WWII, but this time instead of being set in 1954 after some fictional American nuclear tests, it will be set after the real deal. That’s right, it’s set in 1945 after the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings. Yeah, this is no Monsterverse film, let me tell you that… so anyways i just took my morning to work on this little poster to spread the news around, with a crappy drawing of the new goji design next to the 1954 og (i tried looking at the poster, godzilla’s new design is sick btw, think Heisei but with modern cgi) Heck, i’ll just let you see for yourself.
